Not per token. Not per seat. Not per hour. One admitted action has one price, stated before you send it — and if we can't do it honestly, you aren't charged at all.

You buy credits up front and spend them per action. Credits are the meter, never the product — you are buying finished work, not model time.
The rule
Heavier work, more credits
A cheap action is never quietly escalated to an expensive one behind your back. Every action carries a hard input cap, and the price is fixed by the action you chose.
The floor
An answer, or a free refusal
A grounded, cited answer — or a free refusal. Nothing is charged on a refusal. An inadmissible request is rejected before any work starts, and an admitted action with no decision on record to stand on says so rather than guessing.

What we won't do to your bill.
No silent escalation
A cheap action never gets quietly routed to an expensive model and billed to you. Input caps are enforced, not advisory — over the cap you get a free rejection, not a surprise charge.
You're not charged to be told no
Refusal returns charged: false — designed
behaviour, not an error. Requests touching money, legal, irreversible, outward-facing classes
are classified before any work is charged. The boundary is drawn conservatively on
purpose: it cannot invent coverage, so at the edge it refuses, free.
Storage is named before it's billed
Keeping a memory forever for the price of writing it once is how a business bankrupts slowly. Retention meters separately, per GB-month, and we declared the meter before pricing it.
Every charge comes with its receipt
Each response states what it cost and how it was verified, so a bill is something you can audit line by line rather than take on faith.
Where this actually stands
These prices are real and they are not yet for sale. The API is pre-launch: there are no paying customers, the tariff is version zero and deliberately re-priceable, and selling waits on a legal review we are not jumping. Bigger jobs — a verified code change, judged and delivered — are quoted rather than self-serve.
We publish the tariff now anyway, because you should be able to see what something will cost before you invest a week finding out.
